Art-Nude with Devon In Charleville
I love play days like this. Devon is an amazing person in general and one of my favourite models to work with. We get to go away for a day with good friends, try out new techniques, find light and learn how to over come problems and situations on new locations which in turn helps us develop as photographers.
Thanks to John Denton this is actually how we developed our style within the wedding industry so far, By shooting Art-Nude we were forced to find the correct use of light, How to get the light to act as a chisel and carve the best features and shapes on our models without being able to hide any blemishes behind fabric. So when a bride throws on that big important dress, the concept is still the same and we use light to carve through the dress and enhance her best features.
We have to acknowledge Charleville Castle in tullamore for allowing us to use their fantastic location for our shoot. We got a great reception, a guided tour by Ian O Flynn and a history lesson all at the same time. If you have not been in a while, I highly recommend you pay a visit and see all the hard work the volunteers have put in.
