Salthill Hotel Wedding — Padraic & Michelle

Padraic and Michelle’s wedding was a journey — from the heart of the Midlands to the wild beauty of the west.

After their ceremony in the Carmelite Church, Moate, Co. Westmeath, they travelled across the country to celebrate at the stunning Salthill Hotel in Galway, a venue chosen not just for its setting, but for the experience it offers.

It was a day shaped by intention, energy and a deep appreciation for the moments that matter.

From Meaningful Moments to Wild Atlantic Beauty

While in Galway, we spent time in the Memorial Garden, a place that holds personal significance — a quiet, reflective space connected to the journey of kidney patients and transplant stories.

From there, the atmosphere shifted.

Galway welcomed us with its raw, untamed energy.

At the Long Walk, the wind began to build — the kind of Atlantic weather that feels unpredictable, powerful and completely alive. Just before the rain arrived, we created a series of striking, windswept portraits, full of movement and atmosphere.

Moments later, we took shelter — only to emerge again at the iconic Salthill Promenade, where the storm continued to roll through.

No crowds.
No distractions.
Just the elements — and a couple willing to embrace them.

Embracing the Moment

While most would step back from the weather, Padraic and Michelle stepped into it.

With bursts of sunlight breaking through between the rain, we created images that feel unmistakably Irish — dramatic, natural and full of life.

These are the moments that can’t be planned.
Only recognised.
And captured.

The Celebration at Salthill Hotel

As the evening settled, the day moved seamlessly into the warmth and elegance of the Salthill Hotel.

Surrounded by family and friends, the atmosphere shifted once again — from wild and windswept to relaxed, joyful and full of celebration.

They danced, laughed and fully embraced the night — exactly as they had embraced the day.

The Album Design

This album was designed to reflect that journey —
from stillness to movement, from calm to energy.

A blend of soft, meaningful moments and bold, atmospheric imagery allows the story to unfold with depth and contrast, creating an experience that feels rich and complete.

Each section of the day is given space to breathe, ensuring the emotion and energy are both preserved.

A Story That Feels Like Ireland

Some weddings are defined by perfection.

Others, like this, are defined by authenticity.

Wind, rain, light and laughter —
a story shaped by the elements and elevated by the couple at its centre.
