Amy & Dylan’s Sunny Spring Wedding at Rathsallagh Country House Co Wicklow
Some weddings just feel different from the very beginning.
Amy & Dylan’s day at Rathsallagh House was one of those rare moments—where everything aligned. The sunshine, the atmosphere, the people… and most importantly, the connection between two people who were completely at ease with each other.
Set on one of the warmest April days we’ve seen in Ireland, their outdoor ceremony unfolded in golden light, surrounded by family, laughter, and a sense that this was exactly how it was meant to be.
Scroll through to experience their day…
From the very start, there was a calmness to the day. No rush, no pressure—just excitement building quietly in the background as the moments began to unfold.
What made this wedding truly unforgettable wasn’t just the setting—it was the personality woven through every moment.
As the morning unfolded, the excitement quietly built.
Guests gathered, the sun held strong overhead, and Rathsallagh House looked nothing short of cinematic—setting the stage for a truly unforgettable outdoor ceremony and then came their ring bearer… a whippet acting as the official “Dog Marshal,” who quite literally stole the show for a moment.
These are the moments you can’t plan—and the ones you never forget.
A vintage Garda motorbike and patrol car added a cinematic edge to the day, a perfect nod to Amy & Dylan’s story.
Every image you see here was captured intentionally, in-camera—preserving the light, colour, and feeling exactly as it was experienced.
Because for us, it’s not about creating something artificial… it’s about holding onto something real.
After the ceremony, the atmosphere shifted into celebration.
With sunshine still pouring across the grounds, Amy & Dylan made their way into the reception surrounded by laughter, applause, and the kind of energy that carries through the entire day.
The speeches brought a perfect balance of humour, emotion, and heartfelt reflection—offering a glimpse into the lives, friendships, and journey that led to this moment.
There were plenty of laughs, but also some deeply moving moments—especially as Dylan spoke about his parents, who are no longer with him.
It was a quiet, powerful reminder of the love that remains, the people who shape us, and how their presence is still felt in moments like these.
As the evening began to unfold, one of the most powerful moments of the day quietly took centre stage.
Amy’s dad stepped forward and sang “I Loved Her First” — a tribute that brought the entire room to a standstill.
It wasn’t just a song… it was a lifetime of memories, love, and pride poured into a few unforgettable minutes.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Moments like these remind us that a wedding isn’t just about two people—it’s about family, history, and everything that led to this day.
As the evening settled in, the energy shifted—from quiet moments to celebration. Laughter filled the air, the dancefloor came alive, and the story continued long after the sun had set.
Stepping away for a few quiet moments, we captured something a little different—allowing the stillness of the night to contrast the energy of the day.
And to close the night, a final frame—where light, movement, and memory blurred together… like the last echoes of a perfect day drifting into the night.
